Ohhh these days are so short yet so long, aren’t they friends?
By the time I go to bed at night my mind is swimming with so much information that I can’t fall asleep until the wee hours of the morning. The entire day we are being filled with information, emotions and opinions. Sometimes it feels like an ocean of all three and we are being tossed around by the waves of chatter.
I am recycling a topic today.
𝐼𝑔𝓃𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇 🙉
It is important for us to take in the information that directly affects us and to leave the rest alone. It’s too much. Too much information shuts me down and I don’t want to shut down. I want to thrive the best I can 🌱
When we start to listen to the chatter it sounds like a gymnasium full of people waiting for an event to start. We can hear bits and pieces of conversation but nothing too clear. We hear a lot of noise and rumble. When the event begins and the chatter stops we can finally hear a pin drop and we can finally hear clearly. We are then able to focus a little better and the quiet is welcome.
This is how I am feeling lately on social media. So much noise, so little clarity. I know I’m not alone. My friends and I discuss this at great lengths. It is attacking our energy and depleting us of the necessary positivity to get us through.
So how? With so much happening and so much chatter, how are we supposed to ignore it?
Here is what I like to do. I write down what I 𝒩𝑒𝑒𝒹 to know for my family and for our businesses. I find a credible source for those answers and then I stop. I stop reading, watching, listening. I find the answer to my question (sometimes the answer is “we don’t know yet” but that’s ok) and I move on.
Believe me, I have been victim of the rabbit hole 🕳 many times over the last few weeks but I know how much energy it take for me to climb back out so I stopped falling.
I hope for you peace of mind today. Really think about that term
“𝓟𝓮𝓪𝓬𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓭”
Quiet minds that are focused and feeling healthy and grounded.
If it is costing you your peace then

Best wishes for a calm, collected mind set today!
